Amazing food! We ended up here because where we had originally planned to go was closed today. There were 6 of us and all had different things. Was so good. Tastes like it came out of my families kitchen. Would definitely come back here if I'm here again.

Cafeteria style lunch. Good variety of meats and sides. Plenty of dessert choices as well. Drinks are cans unless you get tea or water. Average plate and drink costs about 10 bucks a person. Clean atmosphere.

I have known mama since I was in elementary school, she is one of the nicest ladies that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I never knew just how good she could cook. The staff at Mama's Kitchen or friendly and polite. They are always smiling and very helpful. The food is excellent. Mama can make some of the best bread pudding you have ever put in your mouth. She also has a cookbook out now of all the foods that she makes. Stop by and check it out behind Bridges quickie and Richland. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest I give it a 15, if home cooking and a friendly atmosphere and excellent price is what you're looking for stop in everybody's welcome. By the way you can feel our lord Jesus when you walk in the doors.

Best country fried steak I've had from outside my kitchen😀!!! We are in town once a year for a family reunion and this will now be our Sunday final meal together location. Thanks for a great meal and very friendly staff. Even the busboys were sweet!!!!!

Comfort food, very good. I had Pork Chop and my Wife had baked chicken- delicious. Peach cobbler was to die for...G-maps sent us on a goose chase, very glad we persisted.

Great home cooked meals in a relaxed yet busy cafeteria setting. Food was delicious and filling. Great choice for Sunday lunch with the family.

This place serves wonderful home-style southern cooking. The bread pudding is just amazing. There isn't anything we've tried that was not worthy of a second trip. The staff iswarm, friendly and knows your name in a visit or two.

Mama's has been around a while. Its one of those places the locals know about and go to for lunch...The food is good. Country atyke cooking would describe it.. Its enough to satisfy..Its not buffet but u go thru the line picking your meat and sides plus something to drink. Dessert is available also...Place keeps a nice crowd at lunch time...If u are traveling, u can't see building from highway and the sign is not very standouttish ....

Wonderful Sunday lunch destination—we drive the 30 minutes down from Jackson, and so worth it. Love their “Nothing From a Can” philosophy, and equally impressed that nothing ever tastes over-fried or too salty. Highly recommend the meatloaf (my favorite!) and the catfish (which I almost never eat anywhere else). Also go for the fried mushrooms and the Mexican cornbread. Most of their cakes are made in-house, and the bread pudding is SUBLIME—so different than any other you’ll ever have—it’s closer to a dense custard or flan, with the richest butter sauce you’ll be drinking up afterwards. Homey, no frills cafeteria-style place with lots of warm and friendly staff and downright delicious REAL southern food.

There is no flavor, I can't believe they pretend nothing came out of a can, if half of it didn't come from a can they have so many problems. "Salisbury steak" is just a frozen hamburger patty. Everything kind of tastes like the spirit of the food you think you're going to be eating, bc there's no taste there.
